Brandon came to barbering through the United States Marine Corps.  During his 5 years of service in Iraq and Afghanistan, he learned basic barbering skills and techniques from his fellow servicemen. But that was only the beginning.

Since he left the Marine Corps, Brandon took his grooming skills to a whole new level.  He enrolled in Premier Barber Institute of Philadelphia, where he gained both theory and practical experience in the art of barbering. As a customer of Modern Male Barbershop, he was impressed with the experience and culture of the organization.  He knew from the start that he shared their desire to bring back old-school barbering.  He interviewed with Nicky and became part of the team.

Brandon specializes in cutting longer hair, classic cuts and flip-backs.  He continues to sharpen his existing skills in texturizing and men’s coloring.  Through the Modern Male Continuing Ed Program he is studying and learning new styles and techniques to add to his arsenal. If you want to look sharp, feel sharp and stay sharp, book your next appointment with Brandon today.

Justin started cutting hair at Fort Pickett in Virginia, where he served our country in the Army National Guard for 12 years. He got his first pair of clipper - a $20 pair of Wahls - from the PX in 2004. Since then he developed a strong passion for the fine art of barbering.

In May of 2016, Justin graduated  from Premier Barber Institute. When he saw what the Gentlemen Barbers of Modern Male were doing, he knew he wanted to be a part of this team.

Justin specializes in flattops, high and tight crewcuts and low fades. He will never hesitate to try new styles and has become proficient in a broad range of techniques and looks.

When Justin isn't in the barbershop cutting hair, he practices his culinary skills, cooking - and eating - good food. This comes in handy because he also enjoys spending his free time with friends and family. His motto is, "There's nothing like a good barbecue on a Sunday with good people!"

Come in and ask for Justin. See what he can do to make you look sharp, feel sharp and be ready for success.
Tom grew up outside The Big Apple, across the river in New Jersey. He attended St. Thomas University, in Miami, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management in 1984.

After graduating, Tom worked as a flight attendant for 30-plus years and as an Assistant Purser and Assistant Cruise Director on cruise ships. Shortly after the 9/11 attacks in 2001, Tom landed in Philly, where he took a position with US Airways and moved to Southwest Airlines, where he continues to work to this day. Traditional Barbering has always been of great interest to Tom. So in 2003, he made a decision to pursue his dream of becoming a barber and enrolled in the Hair Academy Barber School, in Newark, DE.

Tom specializes in the Old School Legends and Traditional Barbering Services. Stop by on Saturday and experience on of his expert cuts. While you're in his chair ask Tom about his vast collection of barber shop, cruise-liner and airline memorabilia.
